Workhunters vs Jobright
Checked against Jobright own site on 2026-08-29
The short version
- Jobright is aimed at the part before you apply: what to target, how the resume reads, who might refer you.
- Workhunters is aimed at the applying itself. It registers on portals, confirms the emailed codes, submits, and then reads the replies for you.
- Jobright rewrites a full resume against each posting. Workhunters adapts the summary and skills and leaves your history word for word as you wrote it.
- Our pricing is public. Jobright shows prices only after you create an account.
Jobright puts its weight on everything before you apply: picking the right roles, reshaping your resume for each one, finding someone inside the company.
Their site describes matching, ATS-optimised resume generation, autofill that "saves 80% of your time", insider referral connections, and a 24/7 career copilot called Orion. They name an AI Agent but do not say on that page what it sends.
We do less of that and go further down the pipe. Match, then file: open the posting, fill the form, make the portal account, read the code out of your inbox, submit, and keep reading that inbox for what the employer says back.
What Jobright is
Jobright is an AI job matching platform. It matches you to roles, generates an ATS-optimised resume for each one, and autofills applications, which their site says saves 80% of your time.
It adds insider referral connections and a 24/7 career copilot called Orion. An "AI Agent" is named on their site without being described in any detail.
Listings are aggregated rather than crawled from employer careers pages.
What Workhunters is
Workhunters is a job search agent. It indexes openings from employer careers pages, matches them against your profile, and then fills in and submits the applications for you.
The part that is unusual is the last step. You approve the roles you want. After that the agent opens the posting, fills the form, creates an account on the company portal if one is required, reads the verification code out of a dedicated inbox we give you, uploads the resume, and submits. It runs on our machines, so it works whether or not your laptop is open.
Replies come back to that same inbox, get read, and move the application status along, so interviews and rejections show up without you sorting mail. Free covers 10 applications a month with no card. A credit is only spent when an application is actually attempted, and it comes back if the attempt fails.
What it comes down to
Jobright shortens the work of applying. We remove it. If your problem is that you do not know what to go for, Jobright is pointed straight at that. If you already know and the applications are just not happening, that is our end.

The question their site does not answer
When a posting requires registration, does the AI Agent handle it or do you?
More than half the postings we index, 52%, put registration and an emailed confirmation code between you and the form, on portals like Workday, Taleo and Paycom. Jobright describes autofill and names an AI Agent without saying what the agent submits or how it gets past that step. If the answer is that you finish those yourself, the time saved is real but smaller than it sounds on the majority of postings.
What we do. Every account gets its own Workhunters inbox. The agent registers on the portal, reads the emailed code from that inbox, confirms it, and submits.
Pricing
Jobright. Freemium, with a paid tier. No public pricing page. jobright.ai/pricing returned a 404 when we checked, so prices appear only once you have created an account. Worth knowing before you hand over an email address to find out.
Workhunters. Monthly plans with one-time credit packs on top. Free covers 10 applications a month with no card. Starter is $29 a month for 100. Pro is $99 a month for 500. A credit is spent only when an application is attempted, and refunded when one fails.
Who each one is for
Workhunters. You know what you are after. You need the applications actually inside employer systems, at a volume you will never reach by hand, with the replies read and sorted when they come back.
Jobright. You are earlier than that. You want help working out what to target, a resume reshaped for each posting, and a warm intro where one exists.
Where Jobright is the better choice
- Jobright rewrites a full resume against each posting. We adapt the summary and the skills emphasis and leave your history alone, so if you want the whole document reshaped per job, they go further.
- They aggregate listings, which usually means broader coverage of any given role than a career-page index.
- They have a copilot you can talk your search through with. We do not.
- They offer referral introductions, which is worth something when the person on the other end can actually vouch for you.
Where Workhunters is the better choice
- The applications get sent, not just prepared, and the registration wall on the majority of careers-page postings is handled without you.
- Your work history and dates go on the resume exactly as you entered them. Nothing rewrites the factual half of your record.
- Your personal email stays private. Applications carry your Workhunters address, and whatever they attract lands in that inbox, not yours.
- Postings come off employer careers pages, so what you apply to is the listing the company published.
- Pricing is on a public page instead of behind a signup, and a failed attempt refunds its credit automatically.
Questions
Does Jobright apply to jobs for me?
Their site describes matching, resume generation and autofill, and names an AI Agent without saying what it submits. We are not going to characterise it more confidently than they do. Workhunters sends applications and says so.
Are referrals worth more than applications?
A referral from someone who has worked with you or studied with you is worth a stack of applications. An introduction from a stranger who has never seen your work is a different thing, and hiring managers can tell the difference. Weigh the feature on which kind you are likely to get.
What does Jobright cost?
They do not publish it. As of August 2026 jobright.ai/pricing is a 404 and prices only appear once you have an account, so no figure from us. Workhunters is free for 10 applications a month, $29 a month for 100, $99 a month for 500.
Which one finds better jobs?
They look in different places. Jobright works from aggregated listings, which is broader. We index employer careers pages, which is closer to the source and picks up roles that never reach a board. Neither wins outright.
